The British PHIL SILVERS Appreciation Society are proud to announce the launch of Sgt Bilko's Vintage Emporium and The Phil Silvers Archival Museum. The Museum is dedicated to the life and work of Phil Silvers and houses a generous display of personal effects and items, posters, photographs, letters, books and memorabilia.

Doors opened officially on November 1st, 2015 - the 30th anniversary of Phil's passing - at Fargo Village, Far Gosford Street in Coventry. Now, nearly a year since the grand opening, here is a short snippet of what you'll expect when visiting this magnificent tribute.....

Sgt Bilko’s Vintage Emporium is a new venture situated in Fargo Village specialising in vintage and modern film, stage and television memorabilia. With a strong emphasis of everything ‘cult’ the store will cater for a wide range of tastes. Offering a varied and revolving selection of rare autographs, books, magazines, FOH stills, DVD/BluRay, collectors toys, models, limited editions, framed photos, childrens toys, trading cards, soundtracks, quad posters, comics and standees.

Just a few of the genres covered: Silent films, Universal horror, Hammer Horror, Gothic Horror, Science Fiction, the Golden Age of Comedy (Laurel & Hardy, Buster Keaton), Vintage Television (Bilko, The Honeymooners, The Twilight Zone, The Munsters), the wonderful worlds of Ray Harryhausen (Jason & the Argonauts) and Gerry Anderson (Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet), British comedy (Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses), the universe of Star Wars and the Mighty World of Marvel!

The proprietor Steve Everitt is an avid memorabilia aficionado and collector and brings a wealth of experience to this new venture. Co-founder of The British Phil Silvers Appreciation Society, Steve was heavily involved with the 2014 DVD release of The Complete Phil Silvers Show and is currently working on a number of 60th anniversary Bilko related projects for the future.

The Emporium prides itself on a wide reaching and diverse range of memorabilia. Tapping into the growing market of ‘cult’ collecting Sgt Bilko’s Vintage Emporium occupies a niche place in the very heart of Fargo Village.
